Jack's Magic® Step Cleaner Kit

The Jack's Magic® Step Stuff is a chemical kit used to remove the unsightly yellow to brown stains that appear on the steps of vinyl liner pools. The Step Stuff contains both a granular and liquid product that you simply sprinkle over the step area after making some minor water balance adjustments (when necessary). Quickly and safely remove the stains from your steps with this 2 part system.

Includes:

• 8-ounce liquid bottle
  • Pour this over the step area as well as any other stained locations
• 8-ounce powder bottle
  • Pour over same impacted areas while letting it sit for 2-3 minutes and then brushing it away

Specifics:

• Free & total available chlorine: 1-3 ppm
• pH: 7.2-7.4
• Total alkalinity (TA): 80 ppm or less
• Calcium hardness (CH): 200-400 ppm
• Cyanuric acid: below 80 ppm
• Total dissolved solids: below 1,200 ppm

Should I have the filter system on when applying the liquid and powder?

No, make sure the pump is off and the water completely still prior to applying. 

Will the Step Stuff be effective on my plaster finish pool?

The Step Stuff is only designed for vinyl liner pools. Do not use the Step Stuff in other pools.

How long should I wait before swimming after using the Step Stuff?

After putting in the Step Stuff, allow for 15 minutes of water circulation before swimming.

What temperature does my pool water need to be before using this product?

You should not begin treatment if the water temperature is below 65°.
